Waterway Houseboats on Mara Lake @ 2 Mile is planning a new administration and service building for it’s long running and immensely popular house boat business. Part of the waterfront activity is a camp and RV site across the Highway situated on the slope overlooking the marina.

A concession store at the marina on the waters edge, with it’s circular floor plan and cylindrical form, creates a sense of place. Large patios and easy circulation for vehicles w boats, houseboat customers and beach visitors is essential to accommodate a dynamic activity in the summer months.

Included with the public boat launch is a park and public beach. 

On the mountain side, perched on a hillside bench, a 80 site arc and campsite with cozy cabins will operate year round serving summer campers travelers and winter snow activities.

The cabins blend in to the heavily forested surrounding mountain sides. Wood interiors and features soften and warm the users relationship at their short term home.
